It's interesting....not particularly pretty, but curious with the headlights in the front ''hood'' panel & ''fish gills" xlg_streamlined_auto.jpg

Nope....not a lineman;).....but I worked many years in high-lead logging....and found a harness & cleats saved my life more than once "in the wind" as necessary safety issues, with a tree rocking and swaying. Just seems odd that even back then in the 1920's / 30's, that it would be more or less common-sense to strap onto something more substantial instead of standing on a ladder step on top of a flat roof of a model T. I've worked substantial heights , and it was always unnerving knowing the ground was "down there" below....and with just a knee bracket to lean into for stability as this pic suggests. ....perhaps my work background automatically questions these things ....just curious to the lack of anything safe as precaution, and merely standing on a ladder on top of a car-----------my humble opinion of course;):)

This is certainly an eclectic group of automobiles. Traditional hot rods and a two stroke Saab. I love it. Now what class would the Saab have run in?

Anyone know if this was a future famous custom, or an x-famous custom? Looks interesting. Gary

  22. I'm curious myself. I don't remember any 40 Chevy coupes being done as a full custom. Nothing famous that I'm aware of. It's cool. Be a shame if it didn't get finished.
