Had time to set the gearstage in today. Had to trim the center section because of such a tall gear setup. I'll get a picture up later today.

20160427_235000.jpg 20160427_234938.jpg 20160427_235020.jpg Decided to show off my third member this morning. Had to clearance for the ring gear bolts and limited slip because of the tall 3.25s I'm running. I decided on that ratio because of the short 24-25" tire I'll have to run to fit the low profile of the rear quarter.

Hopefully it won't be too bad. It's a chopped 55 chevy truck windshield flipped around.

I believe Dan Landon's Chevy windshield was chopped less than the top itself, carrying the glass back into the roof.
The same was true for the Matranga Merc.
    Food for thought.

That's an interesting thought. The first chops I ever did I set the windshield down in the cowl.

We took 2 inches out of my Chrysler WITHOUT chopping the screen, we laid it back an inch and then took an inch above the windscreen.

Its still far from finished, when we cut the section out of the roof above the windscreen we left a strip and stepped a flange for the roof skin to overlap.

At the base of the pillar we cut a slit to allow it to lean back, surprisingly it didn't take much lean to lose an inch in height. It will probably need some work at the lower, centre section of the frame near the cowl vent to get the frame fitting the windscreen properly but I'm waiting on a new seal to work with.

Sorry I've been gone a while. Started working some more. Here is a few pictures of recent work. Got the motor mounts in and started working on the front suspension. IMG_20161114_220308.jpg IMG_20161024_230853.jpg
