Would anyone care to put '56 Buick lenses in these bezels?
(...and feel free to fix the paint, if you'd like.;))

Yes that's it. When I looked carefully at the actual hood sides, I realized that the louvers were made in such a way that they can be flipped as you have shown, but that the louvers themselves have the wrong 'rake'. I had to look at them for a long time to see why they just didn't seem right.
I think that the louvers need to be in the orientation of your second picture but at the top of the 'bubble' like the original. Seeing how the metal was shaped that would make it necessary to cut each one out and weld it in separately. Thanx for the Photoshop. You saved me a lot of work. I like the color of green you made it. I may go a shade or two darker, but that's close.

By the way, I think the story about the upside down drawing is false. Looking at the real metal, you can see that it was intended to be the way it is.
    Thanx again,

    Bruce

Is this because Freiberger is wanting to change the "Crusher Camaro"?

Could someone turn this into a pickup and use the same rear fenders? Also curious to see it as a flower car/ute. 56443831-770-0@2X.jpg

    Moose, or ??
I had you color up another coupe for me to get some ideas from. This is the project I'm working on, and wondered if you can "paint" it?? Black fenders and running gear with an orange body ( kind of a brownish orange- like the Kroil can pictured). If you can stick a motor in that would be totally cool too.
    Thanks, Mike B.
