Did the Euro version SD not use the bowed in rear bumper that is commonly seen?
I sure like the look of this one sans bumper.

 

Well, turns out this one is still a bit of a mystery... Trying to find more about that Delivery - it could be a coachbuilt model. I'll keep you posted.

I just noticed that the body doesn't roll in at the bottom like the US version, it's more straight, giving the appearance of a wider body , or am I imagining that?

 

That sedan delivery could be one of the 65 built at Dagenham between October 33 and Sept 34. Ford
called them Travellers Broughams, they cost £10 more than the Tudor saloon. J.H.Jennings Motor
Body Builders of Sandbach,Cheshire,England,would convert your Tudor , for £14 10s. So it might be one of their conversions, either way its a very rare survivor.

 

Funny you mention this. At car shows, some people mention that the rear fenders on European '32s are different. Actually, they aren't, but the body is slightly wider.

 

Great info. Whoever did the conversion did an excellent job. There's even a rain gutter above the door.

 

That's the first thing I looked for.

 

So the SD could be 1 of 65 built in the UK, this one is a LHD, did they make LHD and RHD? Could have been converted though, it would be very interesting to see this car in person and talk to the owner.

I'm not entirely sure yet, it will be a traditional build, '32 front end with dropped axle, '39 rear end, 21 stud flattie, '32 box, juice bakes all round. It will be on steelies because that's what I've got spare in the garage. Don't know if it will be fenderless or if it's gong to get a chop, I prefer them full height TBH. Once it gets here I will think about it some more.
