Would be cool to see you incorporate the exhaust ports on the rear bumper. Just a thought. Thumbs up

Good lord this build is just astounding. Makes me feel like mine is a cake walk. Glad you saved it and are doing one hell of a job making it the way you want to. Looking forward to seeing it to the end!

Good morning to all, i'm sorry but in this moment i can't restart this project. I can't find serious people in Italy for restart works. Everyone are interested to money and haven't passion. So stop all work. Hope in next years can change this mentality.
Thanks to all for your advice.

  19. Sorry to hear about the gap in the build, I was anxious to see more of that amazing work. It'll be worth the wait though -- it's gonna be a wonderful Kustom at some point.

    Ratty Aussie,
I restored a 49' fastback back in the 80's and had such a hard time finding them that I contacted the Guide Co. who made them for GM. I was going to try to buy the molds. They said "Too bad, we just scrapped the pile they were in about 2 months ago"! I did however find out that the lefts and rights are both the same and that 49's through 51's are all the same. Hope this helps your hunting.

Ratty - I have a '48 Cady convert and may have some left over parts that you might need. Also, a friend of mine has two '49 sedanettes with lots of extra parts. PM me and we can talk about the stuff you need.

Hi Stude Dude - Actually, I don't need anything. I, or a friend may have parts that Ratty_Aussie might need for his Caddy build. I was just replying to him. Should have done it on a PM. Sorry for the confusion.

  28. It's me that's looking for 49 caddy tail light sheet metal to graft on.

Ratty - Just saw your PM and responded with a question. Your response above answers my question. I do not have ant '48-'49 tailight sheet metal but, I do have, I think, a pair of '54 Caddy tail lights with quite a bit of sheet metal still left around them. I bought them contemplating that I would use them to make a console for my convert then decided against that idea,
