    Thanks!
I used some water and a rag to clean it, then I just hand rubbed some Meguiars.

Once I do it for real, I will machine polish it with a light compound, but I will experiment a bit first.

Whoooo, that was close. Read through most of that thread. Glad it doesn't pertain to me. I'm building 32s for me, don't give a hoot about if there socially popular. Pretty sure that's true here on the good threads I'm into.

Yes, I'm into mine for about as much as new pickup costs. So when the bottom drop out, I'm going to torch the back of the body off and slide in a pick-up box. I figure, what the hell might as well use it up at that point, it ain't worth much.

Haha, I know. I tell my wife she has nothing to worry about as my mistresses are all old, have 4 inner tubes, leak a little, have a little skin cancer, but still purrs like a kitten when I pull the knobs and push the right buttons.

Other than the floor, this is a great 32 just as it is.

I'm really happy with how it's cleaning up.

  11. I probably would just look at it as is for a very long time. Looks good and a great story. Are you going to try to crank the motor as you told the old man you would and get it running ?

Yes, I'd like to get it running.
It turns over. Not a lot of compression though.

Wanted: 4 banger carb, complete preferred.

  13. The best place for Model B 4 banger carbs (and other Model B parts) is rennerscorner.com, (734) 428-8424. They might have a core.

Awesome, glad to see it landed in good hands.

  23. Remember that rainy day in georgetown colorado and you got a ride in a super cool 51 hudson? You probably need to trade that old broken-down 32 for a car with working windshield wipers. Awesome find!

I do remember that dry ride home in the cool old Hudson. How have you been? We are planning on being back in Colorado for the hill climb next year. Looks like we both moved this year?

Incredible find. I like the Banger idea, maybe a warmed up flattie if you can't find a decent B-Motor. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing and you will have a winner all day long.

After all this time, Betty called me today. She found a folder of paperwork on the car. She wanted to know if I wanted it. I think she was trying to find out if I flipped the old car?!! Haha

She's putting all the stuff in the mail and should have it in a few weeks. Can't wait!!
