She had you at the oatmeal raisin cookies. Oldest trick in the book.

    Great find and story.

It's nice to know there are good folks out there. As was said, on both sides of the story. Congratulations on the find of a lifetime.

Wow, now you have not one but two 5ws. I suppose this one will retain its fenders though?

  7. Congratulations, I am well aware of how difficult it is to negotiate with a widow on a car that is near and dear to their heart,it's tantamount to walking on egg shells. HRP

Absolutely. I don't know many Milw folks yet always anxious to meet some like minded hot rodders.

  9. Wow, great story. You managed to acquire something that I am sure many many people have failed to do through the years.
Now, go buy a lottery ticket......

  13. Great find, thanks for sharing the story. The steering wheel is 1946 Dodge. I learned to drive on one of those.

    Just all around awesome!
To think the 32 was only 20 years old when it was parked!
Good deal on the title. You'll feel comfort once that arrives. Hopefully she scanned a safety copy.

Looks like a DeSotomwheel. I have a 5W exactly the same colour combo, blue, green, rust. LOL. Did you look around the shed for the missing seat, tank, and floor?

Forget the Maltese Falcon, that car is the thing that dreams are made of.

Congratulation on a great find and I look forward to the progress pics. You've got a great adventure with your son ahead.

I'm looking forward to some pics of the car with 64 years of dirt and dust washed off it. You can search here on the HAMB for a thread on how to properly wash the dirt off of a barn find... LOL!! That one stirred up some laughs.

Glad to see someone got this 32. That old car was in good shape. I heard that old man passed away.
That coupe was only about about an 45 mins from where i live. Seen it quite a few times
when i went to the old yard. Did you trip over a hemi when you went in that old shed?
