History "Mature" H.A.M.B. Folks

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by bobg1951chevy, Oct 6, 2016.

  1. Just wondering here, how many guys are beyond their first S.S. check.
For me, I just passed 74. Keeping active, reading and posting to give my remaining brain cells something to do ...... hopefully in a correct manner.

  9. Just got an invitation to my 50th H.S. reunion. A good chance to see people I haven't seen in 5 decades and have nothing in common with , think I'll pass on that and spend the day with my wife of 47 years and the Grand Kids. I'm 68 years old.

I doubt you'll find anyone mature here, just old.
As Pogo said, "Hot the rod and spoil the Child." I ran into my first Rod and Custom mag when I was 13, and at 68 have outlived the magazine...but I'm still stuck on it!
Ask anyone here, old or not, which would you choose? World peace and an end to disease or a '32 roadster??
    See what they answer...

IMG_0422.JPG As time goes by I have noticed that women tend to mature as they age.
Men on the other hand grow older, but never seem to "mature", our maturity seems to level off some time in our early 20's!
Given a chance to do something "dumb" we will take a leap at it, and probably break something in the process!
Just completed my first year of S.S. and pension checks..........63
