This is a '52 with a Don Nicholson built and blueprinted 327, 2x4s, fenderwell spaghetti headers backed by a 4 speed. One tough MF...!!!

That was when Dyno's shop was at Nalley Chevrolet in Atlanta.

It never lost a street race in Atlanta during 1966-1967.

Not my car, ..it was owned by best friend. My '56 Ford Mainline in front.

Sorry about the poor quality Polaroid pic.

    Bought this in March 2016::
Older restoration/customized back in early eighties, or even before that. History is real sketchy, no one seems to remember this in the Mission area of BC.
Previous owner , who bought it in 2009, painted it satin black , re-did the interior and lowered it. He also took off the Daisy mags and put on white walls, black rims and baby moons.
Lowered, Nosed, decked, shaved (emblems & trim), two piece hood into one piece, one piece '50/'51 Olds windshield, and I added the one piece "California" rear bumper.

Plans for the winter (I hope) are to french the headlights, tail lights and antenna.

Then have to re-do the lower front of the rear quarters.

  20. Thanks for the info. I was just curious what year it was when you were driving it around that low.

    Hi Kant

Did not drive it around that low for too long, could not get it in the driveway very well so I parked it in the street

One day went go and let the clutch out and it stalled, re-lite it and stalled again took a peek at all the tires and they looked good

But since it was only 3/4" from the frame to the ground, a tire was flat and the frame was on the ground and could tell it from looking at the tires as they all looked good

With the 6" spindle kit and 2 coils cut and 4" blocks with re-arched rear springs, just way to hard to go any where , so I raised it up 2" and that was way better but looked cool

Ahh yaa days from the past when we were young and had a ton of fun ' Priceless '

I'd have to say Murray Kustom Rod's 51 Hardtop has to be my favorite hands down. 14528207_1301031986576237_90290008_n.jpg

These cars bring back memories. Thanks for posting the pictures. They're great.

I bought a '52 Styleline, 2-door, for me last year but can't work on it until I finish my grandson's '39 Dodge, which has fought me tooth and nail.

If I remember rightly I saw a clip on YouTube with Charlie Hutton and had bought 2 Chevy's that Boyd built and one was a fast back. He keeps them at his shop I think.
