Seems like a good idea, PNW Hambers, what are the main parts are you seeking at Monroe? I'll start it off.

Pair of 100-101 King Bee headlight buckets
Hurst shift rods, #2138 and #2139
    Nice '26/'27 T grill shell
    pair of 15"x5 or 15X6, 5 on 4 3/4 chevy steel rims
Stewart Warner 2 5/8 deluxe Green stripes, fuel level gauge, Water temp and oil pressure
351C roller rockers and guide plates
Bottom of an Ansen cast chevy scattershield
    Ford Falcon/Comet T-10 trans
Stewart Warner 240A electric fuel pump
15x6 with 2"-2.5" backspace tork thrust or lookalikes, I will drill my hubs to suit whatever bolt pattern

If you have any of this stuff and are going to Monroe, let me know. I figure if we post lists of the main things we are looking for beforehand, it can streamline things for buyers and sellers, and we can get info ahead of time as to where you will be on the fairgrounds.

Yes, I know, I am assuming that guys that deal in ford stuff all know this.
Guys, feel free to post your wanted lists here, that's the idea, try to link up buyers and sellers ahead of time.
FWIW, I had no idea whether posting a thread like this would work. I had a potential lead on the King Bees five minutes in, seems to be working pretty good.

We are always there around 6:45, trying to bribe security into letting us in before the gates open. ;)

I'd like to find a really nice '32 roadster body for around 5 grand. If you see one save it for me. But it has to be complete.

Hey Paul- maybe I can hitch a ride up with you??? I'll buy ya lunch or split gas? We could take the "Jelly Bean" as you call it, but we'll be pushing from about 40 miles north of you on up.... I'll give you a call in the next day or so.

What am I looking for? Motivation? Free money?
    Really though, a pair of AFFORDABLE 1957 283 WCFB's.
    "Wings" Fuel Level gauge.
Twin Blue Volts gauge (I have located one but can't seem to get the guy to follow through....patience is no fun).
Also on the hunt for a complete '32 roadster, but I only want to spend 2 grand. Anything over 2, sell it to the guy above ^^^ Ha!

Tim.........I think that might work. We will have to leave on Friday afternoon, maybe, and then try to make it back Saturday night. I will work on that. Call me this weekend.

George.....Think that would be the obvious thing to do. Never my strong suit though, the obvious...

    :confused::confused::D:D:p:p:rolleyes:

For those that don't know, the gennie factory dual four WCFB's off 245 and 270hp 283's are the ones that are rare as hens teeth. The real article, the baseplates are 7/8" thick, run of the mill high choke mount single four WCFB's have a 1 1/8" thick baseplates, and AFB's are totally different, have a baseplate cast integral with the main body, two floats instead of 4, and are a totally different carb.
