What is the stock rim size for a 1951 Chevy Hardtop? I like the look of a steel wheel with a wide white wall. Would I be right in thinking I can go 15x5 all the way around?

15x5.5, 5 lug 4.75 lug pattern, if I'm not mistaking. The stock tire size is 6.70-15.

That's awesome D.N.D.. I love the way the wheels fill the wheel wells. I'm running 14" Rocket Racing wheels (Cragar Style) and they just look too small. Thanks for the photo.

On my 52 I am running 15x7 on the front, and 15x8 on the rear, along with 235/78/15 tires. The car has stock springs, with a S10 4x4 rear end. You do have to keep the back set in mind though.

The tires are too big for my taste, but I used them because I had them sitting there.
A little smaller would look better in my mind, But I have no problems with any rubbing at all.

What's the widest width has anyone ever put on the rear without cutting the wheel well?
