I'll be looking out for it around the New Richmond, Somerset, Hudson area of western Wisconsin.

I just texted the guy and he said he hadn't checked with the scrap yards yet. It's sad to think that those in pursuit of drug money would sell a car like this for scrap.

Can they even accept a car for scrap without a title?

Why would anyone part out a decent looking Impala like that one??? I don't think it's the same car as that funky exhaust pipe is not visible along with different wheels and only one antennae but who knows. Why would you part it out???

Because they don't have the title. Remember it's stolen.

I still would check out the cl one posted above. what better way then to post a picture of a similar car in the same color you just stoled to parts out? especially claiming no frame or body(parts with vin numbers, hmmm)

my friend had an off topic truck stolen and that is how they found it, on cl being sold in parts. Sent his girlfriend to buy a cheaper part that he could identify by certain marks on it . Sure enough, it was off his truck and relayed the info to the cops. guy was only a few miles from him

Hope he finds it intact . I'll keep an eye out in the south east side of Wi. for it. Especially with Jefferson swap meet coming up shortly.

From experience, don't ask the manager or owner of the scrap yard, ask the lowest ranked guy you can find if they have seen it. I have found the owners don't want to get involved and the standard answer is that they haven't seen anything.
