Hot Rods 36 Oldsmobile coupe

    Just wondering if there is any members here that has a 36 Olds f36 coupe . I could sure use any thoughts you have on finding parts, seat,bumpers ,stuff like that.

    Some stuff for those will work from other GM cars. My dad had a 36' Olds 2dr sedan. I think he used Chevy rear fenders on it. Grilles are a tough item to find for them. I think he still has one of the after market grills sold in the 40's for them.

    Last of the Fisher wood bodies. Unless the body is in really good shape, it can be be a nightmare.
    '35 - '36 Olds is a beautiful car.
    I was lucky enough to buy a 2 owner '35 F-35 4 door touring sedan when I was 15. Later that day, we bummed a torch to heat the front springs & "install" a straight pipe. There was a '36 Buick 4 door in town the same color of dirty green, but it had a '56 Roadmaster in it ... everybody wanted to race mine, because we borrowed somebody's Buick wheels with 8.20s for the back to mimic his ...

    Not related to your question but would you happen to know what the original tire size was?

    Couple of bumpers on Ebay now, but for the cost of rechroming I would look at Chevs of the 40's bumpers and maybe get the Olds overriders on Ebay to make it look more stock.

    would you happen to know what the original tire size was?
    6.00/6.25 x 16 on F, 6.50/700 x 16 on L series. Several optional as well.
