  2. From what I've seen here it is possible to change the looks of a 64 Cyclone to a 65 by new front fenders. Rear quarter panels are different but hood and rear deck are the same? Seems like Nicholson's car did the front fender swap, how about the tail lights?
A car club member here in town has this 64 and really wants my 65. He sold his prior 65 Cyclone and bought the 64 and now regrets the sale. Can his rear 1/4 panels be made to fit the 65 tail light shapes? His 64 is a stroked original 289 with a MustangII. Fe also wants to upgrade to a FE. (my type of guy)

HOODS and Trunk lids are different,64 trunk lid extends back,65 trunk is slopped forward!.
65 Front fenders and assorted front dress will fit!Tail lights are completely different shape and design,64 is rounded between lights,65 is flat!Chrisman's 64 Comet became a 65 for the new season by changing EVERYTHING but the roof and glass!Nichlson's 64 Comets used teardrop hoods, two piece front fenders until the twin scooped hood and one piece front fenders came out,his 65 was a completely new car with a SOHC engine!! He has a very nice '64 Cyclone. Is he asking to trade for your '65?

  10. No he wants to put a FE or maybe a 460 in it and then get a 65. He bought this one just a year ago from someone who was at the Fortuna Ca. car show.

It's not a car show unless rain is in the forecast here in Michigan!

And cars run much better at the drag strip with nice humid, cool, air being fed to them. Best times I ever ran were always just as the storm clouds rolled in.

Yeah, been great here. That pic was from last year. Seemed like every event I planned to go to that year was a free car wash!

  24. Might have missed it somewhere, but what are you fellas using for fenderwell headers for the small blocks

Here is a pretty cool shot of Dale Snokes Rocket! Photograph taken by Stuart Mitchell. Anybody know if Dale still owns the car? He has not been on here in awhile...

Edit: worked great earlier but it seems that the large photos are driving the HAMB nuts tonight. Be patent and if some of the photos don't show up right away wait awhile for them to load or refresh the page.

Ok guys found a Dyno Don story and posted here at post 2468
    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/stock-s-s-f-x-1959-1966.247089/page-83

Though of putting it here but it has chevys and the later 66 comet so put it over there. But here are the Early Comets all in one place.

The photos are huge (think computer background) click on them to see real big.
