The plan is to have my car road worthy by then, I'd love to cruise up the Mississippi in the fall. It's great ride on a bike.

We used to do this to the Fall Wildwood run. Everybody thought we were nuts driving open roadsters, including a lot of flatties and early overheads 150+ miles to hang and party for the weekend and then drive home. rarely a breakdown. Wish we had one in eastern Pa./Jersey.

Sounds good to me. Just have to find a route around Chicago from North West Indiana!

Coming up in 2 weeks we are having the 3rd Oklahoma HRH and we already have 130 folks pre-registered! People are realizing that paying to sit in the hot sun isn't really all that much fun.

Depends on where the start is, and where you're coming from, but 80 west to 355 north, to 88 west, to 39 north puts you in to Wisconsin on highways. Back roads would be more interesting, but would take longer.

  27. Okay everybody looks to be the 3rd Saturday in May!! We have a lot of stuff to put together being this the first annual WIHRH. Mark the date down. Also more route suggestions are always welcome.

  28. There's a lot more people on the east end of the state....I know the west would be better, but for a good turnout.....maybe east would be better.
