Going to Australia - Any cool shows/shops for a first timer

Going to Australia for the first time from August 28 - September 16 and will be in Sydney, the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Brisbane. Are there any cool shows/shops to check out.

Was looking at the Chinderah Run or the Spring Swapmeet in Brisbane. Any tips would be much appreciated.

There's a bunch of helpful rodders there and a bunch of great info there's the usual forums and up to date event info all in the regions you mention
Go there and you can't go wrong you will have to register to post

 

Car shows, car shows,,,
It's the people and the food that we enjoyed.
Start with a load of meat pies, some fresh fish and chips, a trip to a chuck shop.
And don't take any clothes, the Sally's are your best bet, unless you really want to stand out like a Yank.

Regular breakfast cruise in Brisbane on Sunday Sept.4. You can look up Toowoomba Rod & Custom while you're there. Always good cars being built in that place.

 

Rat Day in Sydney on Fathers day ( First Sunday in September at Taren Point) I will search for a link.

Don't be discouraged by the name, it has evolved to a great day over the years, lots of cars debuted there...
