Thrashing as usual and came up short. I need a yoke for a TH400. Anyone have one laying around their stash? Let me know. I'm trying to get the roadster back together before the drags and this (and the need to shorten the drive shaft) is going to break me...

Does it overlap with any other transmissions or is it 400 only?

Purely by my memory (for what it's worth?)
    Later B/W Super T'10
    Possibly some Muncie M-22
Richmond Super T-10 ( I bought a new spicer yoke about $100 a few years ago).
None of them terribly cheap, you either get (real lucky) and stumble onto a used one cheap, or bite the bullet and write the check, but they do crossover.

  10. The M-22 is the only one I ever knew about.

I got one on a truck about 60 miles away. so 120 to get it then 120 to deliver it. If push comes to shove that'll be what has to happen. be easier if someone had one Even better if it was local.

How many spline is the 400? I know I have one around somewhere, or at least did, but I can only find a 27 spline one.

any drive line shop can shorten and balance your shaft and napa should have the yoke in stock

I found all the internals of a 400 and 3 27 spline yokes. With my luck these aren't the ones you need.

The shop doing the driveshaft should have the yoke, most do.

  16. Looks like they are 32 spline unless someone has different information.

My turbo 400 from 78 chevy 1 ton had a bolt on yoke. I use the yoke from a 91 gmc truck 5 speed getrag. Works perfect. Harley

  24. Leaving on Thursday is a pipe dream when your favorite mechanic is a two speed and final drive is a granny 4.86:1. ;)

I'll see both of you on Sunday.
