Couldn't find a picture thread dedicated to these high class cruisers.... Post a pic of yours or ones you've seen. List what you've done to it. I'm planning on picking up a '65 on Monday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The one I'm picking up is the same color but not near as shiny! Hope with some elbow grease I can make it look presentable.
Wow, that´s a beautiful car! I love light metallic colors on Rivieras, they really make the body lines stand out! Looks like a very good and solid car!
Hello, My dad was a Buick fanatic. His cars were all Buicks (41-81). He owned a 63 dark green Riviera and a 68 huge two tone green and black top one in the long line of Buicks. That last one was such a large car that is was hard to find a parking spot in small town, Laguna Beach. Driving down the coast felt like the car was taking up two lanes... My friend owned a 63 black Riviera and wanted to spruce it up. I was able to get a great discount (race car speed equipment dealer/builder) on some American Racing 5 spoke mag wheels for him. I drove up to Moon Equipment to pick them up. He wanted to trade me an old Dale Velzy balsa surfboard for these 4 mag wheels. The car looked outstanding and had "that look" for daily driving. It was one of the first street cars with American Mags and this was on a new 63 Buick Riviera. Was the trade an excellent deal? It sure was...the board is/was a very rare one that rode nicely. It should be in a surf museum, but, it is in a garage in Santa Barbara. I have not seen it since then. Thanks, Jnaki
