Have I mentioned thanks for the pics. I was unable to attend this year as another guy at work had time booked. If 2019 is a go, I'm booking my days off now.

There were some rumours going around the parking lots, but at this point, I think that's all they are, is rumours. I think its a matter of if someone, or a group of someones can take up where Al has left off, from what I heard, Al is not doing it again.

Me too. However, all those '32's, although great, is a bit of an overdose. LOL. I saw a beautiful restored '47 Buick convertible that is motivation for mine as well as a great rodder version as well.

Yeah, that was announced via the PA system late Sunday afternoon. There must be enough car guys/groups to take it e template has been set. One fellow said the biggest problem is dealing with the Federal and Provincial gov'ts. But you know the business association has a lot of sway when it comes to gov'ts.

I was already gone by then. There was quite a bit of discussion in the back parking lot of the Days Inn on Friday night about 3 clubs getting together and putting it on, but everything I heard was second-hand, so I was cautious about taking it as gospel.

George, you are right..... I told Fedwoman "That Car is simply amazing"
We had lunch on a Patio and it was parked right across the street, I just could not stop staring at it. Mega Cool! :)

There were some very nice cars there, The cad powered '34 Vicky was very nice too, and that roadster from WA with the nickel plated wheels and front end, the slightly channeled full fendered 5 window... There were a lot of very impressive cars there. The blue '33 with the stude motor was really nice too.

  11. My friend Tony did the upholstery on that car. Killer car. Another Northwest car I believe. He said it belongs Bret Surkert

The interior was one of the real high points of that car, the white T&R buckets with the silver piping and twin blues...really top drawer.

  16. Yes, Bret Sukret is the owner. Total dick head. He becomes more of a dick with each beer he drinks. Ok Just kidding. He's my best friend and did an awesome job on this 3 window. He has been collecting the Stewart Warner blue faced gauges for over a decade. Very nice mild custom with all original Henry tin. Grrrr.

Yep, let's let this one go back to slumber land. Never can figure out why guys dig out three year old or old threads when there are current threads on this years event.
