  1. Clayton Paddison (Mr. Model T on the HAMB) and his T Hot Rod were featured on Jay Leno's Garage. Here's a link to the show on youtube:

  5. I just now saw that someone else had posted link to this story. Sorry about that. I scrolled through the first page of the HAMB looking for same before I posted; guess I should have scrolled farther. Anyway, it's a great show, and now no one here will miss seeing it. ;) I thought it was wonderful that Jay dedicated an entire 30-minute show to Clayton and his car.

Ted -- I had to go back to doing some "paying" work for a while, so haven't done much on the Hot Rod lately. I hope to have an update soon. Thanks for asking.

    How neat is that?
Man, been hearing about Clayton for a while, pretty smart guy.
Jay is just the coolest too, but I'm think'n maybe we should pass the HAMB hat and get him a new shirt, every time you see him he's wearing that same shirt.
Thanks for the video @Late to the Party and good on ya Clayton.

Just watching it now. Wondered if he was a Hamb guy but when I saw the shot at Bonneville I knew instantly who it was. Pretty cool @Mr.ModelT

  8. Best episode I've watched. I'll put money down that says Jay offers that kid a regular position on the show.

  9. WOW!! That is beyond cool!
A gen-u-ine HAMB hero in my book.
Congratulations, Clayton, on not only building a tribute to the roots of hot rodding, but also being invited to show it off to one of the most genuine car guys on the planet.

Notice that on youtube, pkerit mentions the HAMB. He says hes very critical of the HAMB because most of the stuff on the HAMB has nothing to do with traditional hotrods but its still the best traditional hotrod forum we have.

  11. Go Clayton!
Can't wait to get to work, so I can watch vid with WiFi.

So, you can't build a decent Hot Rod for under 10K? :)

Heck yeah! He was nice enough to build and DONATE that dizzy to the Bonneville build in 2012. Jim is a consumate human being and does brilliant work.

Mr Model T. Your my new hero. Such a nice car. Not sure what your man was on about, changing crank shells and Trying to sell you LED indicators but an awsome show. You must be well chuffed with that showcase.
I've seen your car in plenty of photos but so good to see it come to life.
I wonder how many of Jays Bugattis have bullet holes in them?

I just saw the video on Jay Leno YouTube channel. And
    @MrModelT you rocked that show!

You made me think about doing a T, and just not see them as body donors!!

I like the possibility to run it on the freeway,
And I'm very curious to know more about that Chicago gearbox.

Is it like a brownie from a very small truck? Do you need the rukstall and the Chicago, or is it just because you got them?

What do you have for gear ratio? What is the rearend geared at?

Is there a build thread for that beautiful rod or gow job?

Glad to see a true little rod get some love. First time I watched a complete Leno show and it was worth it. Way to go man!
