    can anyone confirm this maybe a General Motors Holden's FC or such?

    Yes it is an FC Holden. I will contact Paul Kelly and he will know whose car it was.

    could be a shot tower or a relief tower--we still have three of the latter in st. louis. once upon a time our water pressure came from pistons and without the towers to relieve the piston action, pipes would burst.

  11. Lovey and Thurston Howell, upstate for a bit of quail hunting.

    (Can't see enough detail on Lovey's gun, but the one resting against the car has the shortest stock I've seen on a pump, and it's a Stevens Model 620 (maybe rebadged, but yeah, it's a John Moses Browning pump)
