Im not sure If i will chop it or not, i think the coupes look a bit cooler chopped..
What do you think, should i chop it?

Glad to see I'm not the only Young guy thats in to the pre war and traditional (authentic) hot Rod scene! :)

  5. If you're gonna have a hotrod coupe... CHOP IT!!! Haha you gotta build it how you like man, and you can always chop it later. That being said I would have a hard time not whacking a few inches off the top.. :D

IN defense of Swedes whose English is more than passable, all I can contribute is a compliment . . . and these singing Swedes from Enviken, whose English is good too. Emmy Lou and the Rhythm Boys are here in the 'States this weekend, playing at a hot rod show in Las Vegas. I wish I were there!

  8. Be sure to ride in a chopped one BEFORE you get out the saw.

  9. Good point Charlie,
A's bounce more than a little.
If you are over 6 foot plan on sitting on the floor
if you wack more than 2 inches!

Hi Axle, welcome. Plan every thing out well before you do it. Make sure that it will be safe and you can drive it in comfort. If you have a car that's not comfortable to drive you will not use it much. I try to drive my coupe as much as possible and take it far. Good luck on your build.

I finally decided. The 4 banger stays!

But i Will keep the v8 for future projects.

I have some questions about the banger.
    1. If i run a 2 carbs on a performance intake (riley, scalded dog, burns etc) do i need i fuel pump or Will the original system work?

    2. Do i have to change the distributor If i change the head?

    3. Anyone from sweden have any 4 banger spreed parts for sale?

Give some general tips about hop uping an Old banger.

Flatheads are really cool. However I'm a big fan of banger Powered hot rods. And If I'm gonna restore the flathead and use some Old speed equipment it Will be a bit too expensive i think..
But the flathead Will go into some future build!

Thank you Tony!! My Idea was to build something in 40's style :)
I'm Happy how the wheels and tires turned out on my car, first i planned to paint them black, then i realized that the primer actually fits the car great! :)

I bought a pair of 39 teardrops and hubcaps to the car. Pictures will soon come.

Now I'm looking for an Old lisence plate from 1930 or maybe from the 40's :)

It's not that easy to find parts, however with the right contacts you Will get far. But some people are not willing to sell any of their old Ford parts since they are a bit hard to get.

Thank you for your kind words about the car! :)
