    image.jpeg Dude.....
Nice that you are trying, but that cage is supposed to save your life. Those welds can't pass tech. Can they?

Let me get this straight; Any engine allowed and an 11.50 breakout? It seems to me like the most important component on the car will be the brakes.

It's a lot like the SDRA just allowing whatever motor you want. I have like $3250 in my whole car.. It's the most fun I've ever had

I've got $1000 in my sbc. Most of the SDRA guys around here have 5-8 grand in their straight 6's..

With what your saving on the engine, hire a professional TIG welder and make that chassis safe! We all don't want to see another Jay Leno video.

My dragster is mig welded together. I guess some of you guys don't know this but the very first HAMB Dragster national champion is stick welded together. My has passed tech at 4 different tracks so far. While I appreciate the fact that there are probably some serious fabricators here, not really the point. At an 11.50 index the rules are not quite as stringent when it comes to that.
If any of y'all want to come to Tulsa and weld me a car up.....Hell, I'll buy the beer

This is said with the upmost with respect, but the issue ad hand ain't the MIG welding, it's the quality of the weld!
And that weld in the picture above ain't good enough to be trusted with my life!

Other then that applaud all around for taking Drag racing back to a time and price frame ever one can be a part of.
Good clean family entertainment you can trust!
