Or try some white vinegar on a white terry wash cloth...Rinse thoroughly with tap water afterward. (or distilled water, if in Minnesota)

  3. Tooth brush and tooth paste is also a viable option I suppose.

I started to say Westley's but I am afraid it may eat a hole in the vinyl. What do you think Mike?

  4. I have had good success with 'Spray 9' or 'Fantastic' all purpose cleaners and a clean cloth to remove stains on white vinyl upholstery
-May have to let it sit and 'bite in' a few minutes-or scrub lightly with a small brush(ie: toothbrush) then wipe off.

I've used white vinegar....worked pretty well....took a few tries with gentle scrubbing with a tooth brush in circular motions, but the rusty spot came out....didn't discolor around the edges either.;)

I 2nd the Magic Eraser thing, they work great on white and don't seem to rub the surface raw. I've also used Bleche-Wite and it works too but it's a step harsher and also don't get it on anything colorful.

Beaner X2. My 58 Impala came with black seats and fabric inserts. The inserts always got dirty. Cleaned them for years with Bleche White and a brush with no adverse effects.

From a boating web site. http://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-forum/344633-rust-stains-seat.html#b

"Go out and buy a gallon of Muriatic Acid. You can dilute it your self in a small jar with 50 - 50 water/acid if you like. I keep a small amount of it (strait) in a small squirt bottle. I squirt the smallest amount to do the job and the rust stains disappear right before your eyes without any scrubbing. Just rinse with lots of water."

Of course, this will only work, if you talk like a pirate, while doing it.

Muriatric (hydrochloric) acid sounds a bit harsh. Citric acid or oxalic acid also dissolves rust. Common ingredients in rim cleaners and bathroom cleaners (for the white chalky sains left by water, no idea what the name is in english).

Marvel Mystery Oil? It seems to be good for just about everything else, according to its advocates;)

As the owner of three cars with white interior's I have used all the above "except the muriatic acid" with good results my go too is 1st is TUFF STUFF as per directions and if that don't get it gone, I use GOO GONE on a soft cloth and gently rub if it's real stubborn a soft brush will usually get it out . I have a white rag top on my 442 and white seats/door panels. I installed both over 17 years ago and they look very nice still. I water down the Wesley's about 25 to 50%, use soft bristle brushes, always wipe down with watered towel, I use a little armor all or equivalent on seats and door panels.

Squeeze some lemon juice on it, straight from the lemon. Let it sit a bit, the wipe with damp cloth.

^^^gross...but it reminds me of a story. A buddy of mine was on his way to Seattle on the super slab for a business meeting. His stomach was uneasy from the runny egg he enjoyed on his chili dog for breakfast but he was making good time so he opted to not pull off. When the moment arose and the "the gambler" (as it has come to be known) presented itself he placed his bet and busted. Shat himself all the way up the back of his shirt. Maybe the OP has his car. Wear gloves. No black light.

OH MY! I had forgotten all about THUNDERBLOW! Joe

  22. I need to get a Farting Post myself... genius. This was recorded back in 1946.

  23. My dad had a legendary touchy stomach as far back as I could remember. Must have been IBS and he had to be really cautious of what he ate. I recall him having a little "mishap" on his way home from a social function. As he grew older, toss diverticulitis into the mix. By age 90, taking him out had to be done with the same regard in handling a stick of sweaty TNT or an IED. Always make sure there was a clear lane to the restroom and pack a change of clothing and big black trash bag.
