I agree, it's a true traditional hot rod that gets driven regularly. Thanks for the tip about the additional pix of it. I'm gonna let Ronnie know about this thread. Absolutely great pix of the whole event, BTW.

HOLY COW! you took a lot of pictures, thanks for posting them. Somehow I never ran into you guys. I did talk to and meet several Hamb guys though. We had a blast, I'm glad I went.

 

Well at least I finally ran into Enloe and Ethan as I was leaving on Saturday, The Heat Did Me In!

OK, this... was unexpected. Is everything from the firewall forward Chevy? I know some Ford guys that gnash their teeth in furious anger when a sbc/bbc is put in one of the Ford/Mercury/Edsel products... So... this is either meant to tick them off even more, or the Chevy guys, or maybe both camps...

I DIDN'T GO AND REALLY LOOK AT THIS CAR BUT I BELIEVE THEY JUST USED A 55 CHEVY FIBERGLASS FRONT END

We asked around about it and we heard that it was raced this way back in the day. I dont know if thats true or not but that's what we were told.
