Photoshopped over this image if you look carefully. The background flags, shadows and everything is identical.
    Nice car though.

150th just off E14th st. San Leandro Ca. U.S.A. Or is it Mission there. Right across from Prings restaurant. No I think Mission started about the Coke bottling plant where we used to turn around while causing the strip. I graduated from Castlemont High School in '62. Never could afford a set of chrome rims from Pete Paulson.

You know I still own my house in S.L. Washington Manor. I still go down there regularly. Maybe once a month. Last time I was down a few weeks ago Prings was half torn down. Kinda sad but time goes on. They had a great bakery probably through the '70s or later. As I remember Pete's shop was kinda set back. I'll have to get off 580 at 150th next time I come down and take a look.
    Where did you live bird?

My family goes back generations in Hayward. I lived in SL on Juana near Bancroft, left 20 years ago when the shootings started.

Yeah that's the outskirts of Oakland now. Still pretty safe closer to San Lorenzo. My house is close to the end of Hesperion witch now goes past the R.R. tracks and a new housing development and into he bird sanctuary. I wouldn't mind if I had to move back there.

  14. That may have been taken in late 1929, but that is a 1930 Chrysler. That "penon" design hood side louver setup was only on the very early 1930 Chrysler. Also, the headlamp buckets have a ridge on the top of the 1930 and the 1929 does not have those.
