I'm with ya buddy both on Javier and the wheels. I am a hot rodder born and bread but I loves me a low rider especially one that is well done. I have juiced more then one in my time.
I talked to a guy from Missouri who owned this Riv in the late 80`s to early 90`s. It was black with true spokes and thin whitewalls. I saw it at a few shows,only if I knew how to post a pic I have of it.
Picked this up a couple months ago for winter project. Bottom picture was from a show this past weekend. Had planned on having my merc there instead but it developed a fuel leak and didn't have time to chase it down.
LOL I thought that they came from San Francisco. The movie Zoot or at least part of it was shot in the Bay Area.
