  1. Sorry....actually only 226 were built. That is the Royal 8 as they called it.

  3. Like I stated earlier....not DeSoto or Plymouth as evident by the reveal at the "A" pillar. The "V" windshield is 1933 Chrysler.

Here's one I picked up about three weeks ago. Old dirt tracker sitting for many years.

Great save! What are your plans? Will there be a build thread, or is this a "someday" car?

These are behind a repair garage in Princeton. The truck used to be a wrecker for the business. It's been sitting there for years. The T Bird came later, but they've both been there for some time now Tiger Garage Tow Truck.jpg Tiger Garage T Bird.jpg .

...I shouldn't really ask, because i really do have more than enough on the go, but i noticed the '60 Cadillac behind the chain-link-fence... Does this yard sell anything?

I'd at least get the glass outta that wagon. I'll bet that's worth the price of admission.

here a few I've spotted in various places.
I'm hoping to go get the old Chevy sheet metal for wall art this summer.
and maybe dig up the blue roof section and see whats hiding !
I'd love to drag home that old trailer !!

The first picture is a Model A pick-up bed, looks like it was made into a trailer. I don't know about digging up that blue roof, looks like it is some varmits home!

  16. Yep....looks like a 1926 Chevrolet....exploded.

I dont know where that wagon is, a buddy of mine sent me the pic.

I did pick this up last weekend though. Sitting, but not necessarily rotting. 59 Chevy Biscayne window sedan delivery, apparently rarer than I first thought. 20160506_144854.jpg

I keep expecting my son's 57 Dodge wagon parts car to show up here. Its in pretty good condition, just laying on my side yard, I've built much worse condition cars then the wagon is. I've had a few guys stop by and take a "look".
The deal is, he bought both cars as a package deal. His "good" wagon is a California car that still has the original 57 Dodge floor pan. Though not built to be HAMB friendly, its going to be a very nice ride. The parts wagon has everything his "good" car needs as far as trim and odd parts, and it has many parts that would be extremely difficult (and expensive) to find if they were ever needed. He has no other place to keep the car right now, so needless to say, its not going anywhere for some time. Its kind of a shame, but that is the nature of a parts car, and the best parts cars are the ones in the best shape and most complete.

That little red Chrysler coupe would look good sitting here in my collection, and so would that old dirt track coupe! They would look great parked along side the parts wagon, my 47 Dodge pickup sheet metal, and my white & blue coupe. The parts Dakota and my 93 Dakota 4x4 could be the anchor points to that great collection. I might even let my son park his wagon here, to add to my enjoyment! I could drive all the car guys nuts while I sit and stare at them with a big smile on my face. "Some day I'm going to build ONE of them, I just can't decide which ONE I like the best." Yea, I could be that kind of guy. Gene

That's what I originally thought, but it doesn't have a back seat, the back is the same as a sedan delivery, wood floor and all, it has the body number on the trim tag of a sedan delivery and is badged Biscayne, wagons were Brookwoods. It is an old Department of Agriculture car.

A 39 that I dragged out of the Florida woods. It had been sitting there for over 30 years. I'm hoping to use the drivetrain for an AV8.

^^^^ Are there plants growing inside of it or is that just a reflection?

  24. .......and is that another hood sitting on top of the hood?

  25. Looks like the original hood that has shifted over slightly.

A special order through fleet sales. A lot of different agencies bought similiar vehicles. Forestry Service, etc. Does yours have the one piece lift-up rear door or conventional tail-gate?

No plants inside, that's a little algae on the window and side of car.
Just the one hood sitting there.
It has an 8BA hooked up to all original running gear, everything is there including the spare tire and tools. I'm hoping everything under the car is still useable. I brought it home but have to wait until my new shop is built before I get a good look under it.

Stopped by a local scrap yard, got the word that this was the last old car in the yard and it was on it's way out. Grabbed as much off of it as I could, but not a whole lot worth grabbing.
