Vintage shots from days gone by!

I Should've put this one up for Mothers Day ♥ My Mom @ Belmont Speedway circa 1955 .

 

Any idea on the car. It looks familiar but not enough to venture a guess.

 

My uncle bought a '65 cuda new, like the one on the left. (it looks like it has 65 tail lights) Formula S, 4 speed, silver with a black stripe. His mom drove it once a week while he was in 'nam to keep everything happy. Best part, he still has the car today.

 

Something about this fire really BUGS me.

 

My world-travelling uncle took this photo at the Vatican in the 1950's on one of his trips....parking was more informal back then apparently!

I'd guess it's a De Soto Firesweep 1958 (except for the missing chrome lists). Anyway I know that the Finnish police had De Sotos and Plymouths in the late fifties and early sixties.

 

Looks like a job for Red Adair!
