I really enjoy reading these threads, so I figured I would make one.

A buddy solidified a deal on the car, he will be the owner. It's not a barn find by any means, it was last on the road in 2000. The current owner has had it outside but under covered storage.

He went up there a few weeks ago but the owner wasn't ready to sell yet. It fired up without too much issue and they drove it around . A bad manifold exhaust leak was the only real issue he thinks it needs fixed to drive home.

I'm writing this as we are on the way to the ferry here on Vancouver Island. Riding shotgun has one benefit I guess.

I don't have a picture I can put up yet, but here is one of my freshly finished 32 rails that I put the motor in today.

Share some photos...we all like to see barn finds, regardless if you measure miles in "klicks".

Not sure what you guys are talking about with the caps lock button, maybe the app is doing it. Just woke up and we are headed the last 30 miles.

Did stop at a random flea market and bought some light reading for fifty cents

It's funny half the time on here, it's impossible to figure out how old people are, because all is behaving like 19 all over again except for a little more patients and little more wisdom.
Except for those who claim remember WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War (updated version of WW2), first gulf war, second golf war.
But this is living proof that you are older then me, you take your sweet time to B1tch and moan about cabs lock when you should be asking for tire size, or patiently waiting for updates.

You are so funny when you act grumpy, lol

  22. Rasmus, you should know by now that with Larry it's not a act! HRP

Well it may not be a large cubed, high HP or fully optioned car but that appears to be an excellent example of a Galaxie. Your mate did well.
