That 'thane spring pocket in the A-Arm may be raising the nose a bit. 4" inches of ground clearance is doable. Shock selection is important. Adding a sway bar and it's cruise city.

I noticed that rubber on the bottom of the coil perch was holding me up. I thought about removing it and then weld a stop in the perch and wrapping the bottom coil in a hose to bring it down a bit.

I ordered a sway bar but it hasn't arrived yet. It's on back order.

Won't get greedy, but it should sit just right with full weight. Maybe, and still align.

Brake lines are done. One more step closer to cruising.

The engine bay is starting to look better.

Oh yeah. I like the way your brake lines come off of the valve, go back and then down. Mine come out and straight down making it a bitch to get at the spark plugs and stuff. It was all "kit" stuff that the guy who had it before me installed. I would have made new lines to get them out of the way like yours. I will in the future, got bigger fish to fry right now. Gotta keep it on the road.

The old kick back trick. My buddy Joey showed me how it's done and bent those lines for me. I think we got it figured out as long as the inner fenders clear haha.

Well, the 56 isn't ready to cruise yet. I don't want to miss the Stray Kat 500 tomorrow, so I cleaned up my Uncles 57. We are going to cruise to show early in the morning.

Your Uncle's 57 is very cool and I can see your 56 is going to look as good if not better! Are you going to run that turbo or is that just a mock up idea? Joe

    Thanks Bruce.

Thank you. My Uncle's car is a lot nicer. The stainless, the paint, the interior, pretty much everything is way nicer, but I really appreciate your kind words! No turbo, it was just sat there as a joke. It belongs to an off topic car.

I didn't give up on this project. Still at it, but now I have my own shop to work on it in.[IMG]
