Thats an old pic we had some problems with the motor and it had to be tore back down. The motor is almost back together so I am hoping to go up there on Monday to dyno it. If I get it home Monday and everything is good I should still make Knoxville. I am actually hoping to run it the week before to get some bugs out of it first.

 

would that be at the grove or Byron? if its the grove I would go out there.

Smartest monkey ever...pro systems carb and a bullet proof sbc...oh and maybe 1000 cfm 4150 not 1050.

Seems like im working harder now to get it back together than when I first built this. disc brakes, line loc, engine apart for new combo, fenderwell headers and the list goes on

I just bought a new hauler for the skairlane. It's a 1970 ford ramp truck. Look for it to be pulling in the 2017 meltdown drags. It had to be an old fuel teams or something it has a few fuel tanks and in the compartments on the side it has valves to open to get fuel and one is labeled Nitro and the other is Alky. Can't wait to start on this one

 

look at everyone trying to jump on the band wagon now. chrysler corporation is still the only manufacturer to officially celebrate its heritage with a day dedicated to its finest engines. i guess its no surprise the others have been playing catch up for over 50 years now. go figure.
