  5. Car is awesome. I hope to run 12.70 in mine. Tell us more about those ladder bars? assume heims at axle and slider up front. Did you make or buy that slider?

Hemi joints on the rear, sliders up front. Bought the sliders from speedway motors from there race car catalog. Car hooks up perfect and goes straight. I made them long to copy the old days. Sliders were the heavy duty ones with the ball bearings. This is a picture of the all steel willys pick-up I'm building now. I'll be using the same set-up on it. I put a 331 hemi in it. It will be gasser style but for the street. 2014-11-10 14.33.12.jpg

Hanging on the Meltdown Drags Thread....thrashing on the Austin. She is up, running and driving. Breaking in the Clutch below at the local high school parking lot Sunday afternoon. Halfway there: 100 laps, 200 stop and goes and just over 600 clutch depressions and more self control than you can imagine!!!!

    Hi Guys

The Old Gasser dude has been down for the count for 2 months now, done broke my back just gitte'n out of bed now it is learning how to walk again

Hoping to be free of the walker in about 2 weeks or so, been quite the deal so all of used guys count your blessings each and every day the shinny side is up as the heavy duty sheet time really sucks

What is really cool is that they ' Hot Stuffed Glued ' my back together, it is instant and no pain and I have built 6 gliders using that kind of glue ' pretty trick '

After being away I need to read up and see how your gassers are coming along

    Later Don
