what tire size have you used on a stock wheel in a radial tire for a 1950 chevy?? the internet says 7.00 x 15 is a 225/75/15. seems a bit wide. thanks.

  2. 205 75 R15 on my 1951 Chevy. The fit is good.

On my 52 wagon I'm running 235/75/15 with stock 5 inch wheels. No issues at all.

That is what I used on my '51 Dodge with no problems.
