I'd guess (and certainly hope) his Brother Jimmie has it. He has quite a stable of really nice Custom cars.

SRV was great. Saw him in the early 80's. One of the best live shows I've seen.

I don't think that was ever Stevie's car, Gary Howard built that for Jimmie.
Jimmie drove it to the St. Ignace car show in the early 90's and was staying at the same motel as we were.
Beautiful car, I am sure he still has it.

Don't know to whom it belongs but it's the shiz-nit.

  12. So, did SRV have cool rides as well as his brother?

  13. Don't think so, but he had a bitchin' guitar. Saw SRV live in about '86. Great show.

Saw Stevie in the mid-80s. I was mesmerized, in a surreal state, the entire concert!

Does Jimmie still have a 35 ford 3w in his stable? He drove the flatty from Austin to the 2005 LA roadster show and back. The car was pictured at the South Austin Speed shop opening in Oct. '05.

Stevie Ray Vaughan was a Riviera man ,and i dont just mean his epiphone ......
This Car title is a one of a kind find and i consider it priceless
1000 numbered Prints max will ever be produced
Stevie Ray Vaughan's 1969 Buick Riviera that
    He purchased from his mentor
Paul Henry Ray ,of paul Ray and the Cobras in 1981
the first band stevie really played and recorded in ,along with jimmie vaughan
he bought this after he played on David Bowies album
he realized the neglect had allowed weeds to grow up into the engine
it was salvaged ,where a new title had to be issued because he signed SR Vaughan
    not Stephen ray Vaughan
It shows the address of 2009 Ashby ,a known address for him
This one sat unknown for decades
    It has come to light
and im sharing it on the glorious
    30th aniversary of TEXAS FLOOD
sadly i do not have a pic of the car

I was working in my garage on my avatar when on the radio I heard the news of the helicopter crash. Etched in my mind forever. :( Bill

Rock n roll and hot rod just go together. I was a young carpenter installing wood shakes on a two story house when I heard about S.R.V. I still remember to this day the D.J. coming on the radio telling the news while he was crying. Man what a sad day for a music lover.
