John, it was great to see you and Cynthia at the show on Saturday! Also, I forgot to mention that I had a chance to check out your coupe chassis at Ryan/Tardel's on Thursday. VERY NICE!!

Stopped at the Atomic world HQ on my way out of town to say hello to Ryan and Keith.

Keith is building my 32 5-window (you can see the build thread "the John mearns Coupe") here on the HAMB. It really looks fantastic.

Great thread! I think we should encourage more "Drive Report" threads on the H.A.M.B. My favorite motorcycle website has a whole sub-forum dedicated to "Ride Reports" like this, and it's among the best parts of the site. A few more from today. I stopped in Fort Stockton Texas which is just within striking range of something I have been trying to buy for about 5 years. If I'm successful, I will share it with you, if not it stays a secret until next year.

 

Have a safe trip to lost wages , I especially like the old signage photos , keep'em coming .

A follow up to my stop in Johnson City TX.

I pulled up to the front door of A Stidham outfitters and unknowingly solved a long standing mystery of their family. You see, they have an international harvester metro Van grill hanging in their house and always wondered what it was from. Their best guess was an IH tractor or big truck; now they know.

Here are the goods from the goodie bag they gave me.
