The steel wheels where not my first choice, but when I changed from the small lug pattern to the full sized pattern my budget didn't allow for anything better. But I did manage to fit 9" of rubber without tub alterations. 20150814_194313.jpg

    image_zpsfm3s25cs.jpeg Fabulous thread

I'm currently restoring my 41 truck and have decided on gray paint, I stole this pic of a 40 in gray.

The wife and I are arguing over black accents, any chance of getting the running boards, grill, and a black pinstrip on the beltline? I'm also running wide white tires. Thanks in advance.

Son of a gun, wife is right again, thank you very much. I think go with smoked glass and it'll look sweet.

    Thanks Again

image.jpeg image.jpeg I was wondering if you could photoshop this picture of what I hope my car will look like. I'd like to see it the same, with the lettering and all, just in the firemist lime color, and maybe darker green lettering to show up a little better.

Needs the window color changed. Yellow or red maybe

  13. Tried yellow and red..Too much color going on. Here's smoke. I hope the OP doesn't mind my tweaking his car...

I know it's all personal taste (and no offence intended) but who would mind what you do when it looks THAT good!

I'm no P-shop Guru, but the first thing I'd do is put some doors on it;)

I used to restore Tbirds and I'd love to cut one up, even just digitally, but that picture is really poorly suited to Photoshop, it's too small and the lack of doors and hood alignment are going to make it really tough to restyle. Maybe try to find a large resolution picture of an identical car online and post that for people to work with.

  18. Just a reminder to all of you Tbird lovers...This is only a digital rendering and I didn't ruin a classic car...Besides it didn't even have any doors;) so here's something a little bit off the wall....

That's worlds above the retro reinvention that Ford did. Deserves a nice big motor tucked under that hood.
