1941 Sedan Delivery. Was an old Watkins Product route delivery until retired and left to pasture. I began resurrection in 1984 and put it on the road in late 90's........Ran Route 66 this past summer from OKC to Chicago then back home through the smokies to New Orleans..........Great road car and a real pleasure to drive. freeport_joy_ride_001_.jpg freeport_joy_ride_005_.jpg freeport_joy_ride_010_.jpg texas_joy_ride_car_show_2010.jpg before.JPG FtWorth_cropped.JPG AUT_2519.JPG

That's Harolds cpe. Did you know there is a Hot Wheels car of this and that it has been at Gilmore Museum for the past year?

  10. Mine is feeling neglected while I pick away at my shoebox. It will be a traditional early '50s tail-dragger and will be chopped. Hoping to get into it this fall.

Traded my lawnmower for this one. Should be able to start on it this summer. Getting rid of the mower freed up some time. 0720141856-00.jpg 0720141857-00.jpg

    Allis Chalmers 410, nothing special.
Deal was stalled for a few weeks so I threw in a Honda 200x that smoked.

Going with 38/39 Lincoln Zephyr. Not sure placement, if I'm going to French, etc. but I like them. Tear drop style only 7" or so tall, about 2x the height of the ford tear drops.

I like the placement in that lower "tool tray" area. Now I am getting some ideas for mine!

But was thinking (crazy) about putting early corvette lights up on the rear fender about where the fuel door is... Maybe.

Here is a picture of my 1941 Ford Business coupe just out of a barn for the first time since 1975. It was found in Kansas and shipped here in Florida a little over a year ago. I've been working on it steady for a year now. I have restored everything mechanically but leaving it with the great patina. The motor is now a 1948 Mercury 59AB that I beefed up a bit giving it the Offenhauser treatment. I'm real close now.
LftFront.jpg treatment. I'm real close now.
