Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by ratamahata, Mar 13, 2016.

  1. Hey guys! Recently I built this table just a guide for built full frame rails! Like the tech "Build your owns 32 frame rails" basically the process is the same! I make some patterns in a 3 mm wood to use with the plasma cutter!
Well is a Start! More pics coming soon!

If you don't mind me asking,
    Why build them ?
Why not just buy the rails ?

The thread haag posted a link to which is what he is doing is how I found the HAMB. I was searching 32 chassis and it came up and I was thinking I can do that. Then when reality kicked in with the time I havn't got involved, yes just buy the rails even if you do cut and massage them to suit your needs. But as with the OP of that thread maybe he has plenty time and free materials and little money.:)

  11. I live In Argentina! The price for a pair of rails is right for me, add shipping price, add import taxes! That's to much for me! And there are other thing regardless the money exchange! Well that's it!

Great job on the rails. What wood was the box built from? It looks like Padauk.

  27. Got busy and distracted did you?
Nice job on the frame rails

  28. I made the box with MDF and the small pieces with Eucalyptus Saligna!
