    I don't think I've post this on Sunday models. IMG_0258.JPG IMG_0260.JPG

  2. Thanks! Nice shoe box, very clean and I like the blue dots. Did you make the Carson top? Hope we get some more models today. I'll post some more of the dealership, if not. Ron... 530.jpg 540.jpg 542.jpg 538.jpg 538.jpg

This is an AMT '49 Merc for a Summer contest on FB.
Modified a '50 Ford top and extended the trunk lid into the cat walk/tulip panel.
Slightly lowered the windshield frame too.

I'll throw in a few shots of my dream Willys in 1/25th scale. The 1/1 hasn't happened yet, but I can dream.

Haven't built a model in a long time, all ways admire the cars on this page. Here are a few out of my model cabinet from back in the day. 12895354_10206894655578843_992303237_n.jpg 12899668_10206894654458815_987643305_n.jpg 12900178_10206894642458515_1419402611_n.jpg 12910279_10206894656018854_1793988475_n.jpg 12782446_10206894655058830_1360547167_n.jpg

Lot of good stuff today, and I'm loving that 58. Just so happens that I finished my 58 earlier this week.[IMG]

  13. No styrene from me today, just a dirty old muscle machine. IMG_20160328_185040.jpg

  14. I was hoping that you would post this week. I have collected all of the muscle machines too . They are very cool. I like how you detailed yours. The 29 pickup is one of my favorites. This lakes model, is one that a good friend built for me from scratch. Its metal and wood. I think I posted it under Hot Rod toys. But though that it fit here also. Thanks, to next week. The T Roadster body is available from Ebay seller "oldmandowntheroad" for about $15.00 + some postage. It's cast in white resin and very good quality. He has a bunch of cool stuff.

  20. Its Sunday again. So I'll start off with the Firestone dealer at the slot car track. Looking forward to see some cool models this week. And thanks Ron... 041.jpg 034.jpg 044.jpg

Ron--awesome diorama! It's like the ultimate Christmas hobby window display.
Dago88--great old builds! I picked up a '27 touring a while back, with no intention of actually building it, but after seeing your very classy version I might reconsider.
James--wicked padded top. Looks great with the added trim.

Here's my blurry dark shots for Sunday Models this week...bobber '37 Ford in progress. Inspired by trucks built by Rudy Rodriguez, Ian Loska, Canada Customs...
Resin buick nailhead, scratchbuilt frame, wishbones and quarter-elliptical 4-bar rear suspension, copper wire headers, '34 grille. Just trying to sort out what to do for headlights, gas tank, and taillights, and then it'll be time to prep it for paint. Also might change the air cleaners to flame-arrestor style if I can find some.

  24. And finally, one of a few closed cab Model A Pickups, this one with a potvin blower. IMG_20160403_193526.jpg IMG_20160403_193504.jpg IMG_20160403_193611.jpg IMG_20160403_193543.jpg

  25. Figured I'd show this too, before putting table back in front of model cabinet.
    Crazy mix between Hot Rod, and Speedster. IMG_20160403_201600.jpg IMG_20160403_201617.jpg IMG_20160403_201648.jpg IMG_20160403_201707.jpg IMG_20160403_201717.jpg IMG_20160403_201805.jpg IMG_20160403_201852.jpg

  26. Thanks Kiwijeff and spex84, Great start, The best thing about models is that you can go crazy with your imagination. You can build fun stuff that you would never try for real. I really like the boat tail speedster. So keep them coming .The Wilder the better and THANKS again. Ron... 039.jpg 070.jpg
