I have a video of the floppy floppy frame before I started "fixin" it but its hiding in my files. Maybe it will pop up later. I'm sure most of you guys are familiar with the O herren Vicky built by Jimmy White and friends at Circle city hot rods. That car is responsible for my passion for Vicky gassers. I'm sure someone has a pic of it. Anyway they truss boxed the frame and its a way cool build. Hats off to Jimmy! Well done man. I was looking to make my frame strong also....Now an iron headed 392 HEMI weighs in at 780 lbs then you have the bell, flywheel clutch, and trans. All said I'm looking at 1000lbs. This frame needed serious help for wheels up launches if I wanna be able to open and shut the doors after the first race. This is what I came up with upload 1-15-16 140.JPG

Since cardboard gets weak when it gets wet I decided to use flat steel instead ;) upload 1-15-16 126.JPG upload 1-15-16 127.JPG

actually Pete it only added about 20 lbs of flat steel but theres that 10 lbs spool of wire I burned in there also. 30lbs aint bad considering what boxing plates weigh and this thing is STUPID STIFF!!! Russ
