If James is putting it together,it's a safe bet it's gonna get people's attention twice:
Once when it rolls into the pits and people are like: "What the f**k is that..?"

And twice, when it makes a pass, and people are like: "WHAT THE F**K was THAT!?!?!?"

I don't know how you do it Brother, but you've got that magic touch for turning the regular into the outstanding.

I had a fellow HAMBer ask me this week if all the body work I had done on the Austin to make it a two door was worth it. This is what I told him. You see it is really not about aesthetics. I was worried the car was going to be so fast that I might actually blow the rear doors off of it and that could be a problem. I mean if I am racing Scott, I would probably have enough time to stop and pick them up, but some of the other cars on here are pretty fast so....:p

It's obviously not about aesthetics....That thing looks like bastard son of a guppy that got gang raped by a school of carp.

    Thanks racer
You know this sounds like a super tune weekend before we Meltdown.
Sure hope I have something to tune. And if it can be two day race close makes a better tow for race ratio for me.

  23. im not very far from the grove if you need a place to stay or if you need a shop for repairs.

I am hurt. I can not believe you guys haven't noticed the chopped top work. I mean it used to look like a guppy. But now it has obviously been streamlined into more of a super sleek dolphin-esk shape. LOL!

I think Norb is onto something....

All who agree that Deuced Up's ride should henceforth be known as "The Sperminator" say "Aye!"

I've been building a 59 GMC to use as a tow vehicle, (and daily year around driver). Been working on it, off and on for the last few years, but got serious last summer.

Started it last Thanksgiving Day for the first time, (326 Pontiac, Muncie M-20, and 59 Pontiac posi rear axel. It went to the body shop last December to get some rust fixed. The really bad place was the inside of the roof, above the windshield. Mice had made some nests up there and rusted it out. Otherwise, it was a VERY solid Texas truck. Hope to have it done by June, for The Heads Up Drags.
