Event Coverage Run to Sun: Myrtle Beach , SC March 19th Cookout #3 ***PICS Added ****

Well its time to quite talking and get to meeting, the run to the sun had a great turn out today. Tomorrow is the day and and we are all ready so if you are at the run to the sun hope to see you out at the state park.

 

Had a blast today and the 3rd annual meet and greet was a success. 40 plus cars and maybe 150 people works for us. Huge support from some Geargoyles, Road Devils, Kingsman, Junkyard Saints and Retarded Sparks. After cloudy overcast weather all day, the food was blessed by brett4christ and so were we. Clouds parted and sun came out. Huge thanks to those that help, and those that support. We will continue as long as those are wanting to attend. Here are a couple pics from our event. I kinda hit the wall today after a long two weeks at work. Bryan's (scharleyride) grillin' put some wind back in my sails and I managed to get a few pics after some of the crowd rolled out. Truly some of the coolest rides at Run to the Sun filtered into our lot.

Thanks to all that came out and made this a great event for the Assorted Nuts, We are all ready looking forward to next year. Hope all had a good time and will tell others as we plan that next years will only be bigger.

HRP - Just saw your question about the '54 Ford. He is a member of the Road Pilots out of N.C. and unfortunately his name has slipped my mind. Very nice guy and a beautiful car.

 

I think you mean "Road Devils"...all the Road Pilots were at Sinticket's wedding!!!

What's with the clown noses on some of the cars?

 

Some of the other guys may know more but Walgreens was filming a commercial for Red Nose Day. Our Nuts are famous!

 

So....what's a "Red Nose Day"?

 

Its a campaign to inform the public of Walgreen's children's charities. they told us it would be on the Walgreen's website, and possibly make it to broadcast TV. They said they were a sponsor for "Run to the Sun".

 

Walgreens posted the commercial today. Pretty cool!
