  1. Here's the link to my Fotki page, Sauli.
The donor was Revell '59 Ford Galaxie and the five spokes are from a '70 Impala.
Cargo area was done using magazine subscription cards for templates. Then replaced with styrene.Bench made the roof rack and cooler.
    Wagon starts on page #9.

  2. kiwijeff thanks for the information. I'm very old school. The hamb is the only site that I'm a member of. I like your models a lot. I don't take my hot rods or toys to serious. I don't do build threads or set time limits on projects. I only play with them if its Fun. My eight year old grandson and I build models and play with the slot cars, when we are not doing road trips. I think its great that you are spending lots of time with your daughter, That's what really matters. Ron...

  3. Thanks Ron.
I'm not the kids real Dad, I took on the role of caregiver, when she was born, as her Mom, who worked for me, has head injuries. I was at the birth, told her Mom I'd help her for five years, it's been six now, and I love the kid as my own, but have made sure she also knows her real father.
Oh, and she loves Hot Rods, she's very possessive of the Hudson, and won't let other kids get to close to it.

Here's a few teaser shots, in till I move the table.
I've tried working on models with the kid around, but it's too hard for now. IMG_20160315_160402.jpg Model A C Can wrecker. Started 6 years ago, I'll get it done sometime.

I remember going to the "World of Wheels" as a child just to see these. Really brings back good memories.

  9. Thanks! We are leaving for Church now. We're taking the Hot ROD, everyone there knows when we get there and when we leave. ha. ha. I hope you guys post some photos of some real model cars. Mine are just toys, but they are fun. I'll post a couple more of our day care nurse Jessica. I'm not sure what the babies see in her. ha. ha. Ron... 009.jpg 015.jpg

"A" arms moved back a bit to center the tire.
Styrene bits added to the screw bottom "A" arms to doctor them up some.

Last week I got to detailing the interior; satin black upholstery, with satin silver pleat inserts& black flocking on the floors. Gloss black side garnish&dash. Bare-metal foil dash grille, door panel trim&-cranks. 20160321_015631.jpg
Last photo shows the three main sub- assemblies where I left off late Sun night. 20160321_015243.jpg
    Body clearcoated&assembled, w/BMF trim.
Front suspension together in preparation for the drivetrain going in next. Spindles are left loose at this stage for eventual stance-adjustments, depending on the upcoming wheels&tires. Goal is a full-dressed old-school "bomb" -lowrider.
