hi every one yesterday was so nice so I rolled out my modal a tudor , and man does it set high , I have all the wood done so it has a little weight on it ,and of course when I swich and put the bowed one under it that will be a bit heavier ,but going to still be high so I have a model t ford rear spring , so heres my question what leafs sre the best to leave out , thanks a lot
i left main leaf with reversed eye, 2 nd longest, cut off one inch from each end, 3rd longest then remove next , use next, remove all others and use A first leaf to center spring pack in spring pocket. i did a tech article on this see "Lowering My Model A" should help
thankyou for the reply , I don't think I can go that low ,because of the axle housing the 9inch ford is a lot bigger , so what leafs would be safe to leave out?
Try every other one. Then you can add and remove to get desired height and ride quality. I don't know how finished your car is, but a finished car with full weight will obviously have an effect.
