X-F272, many thanks for some excellent Australian photos.
Ubiquitous amongst most of the photos are FX / FJs - they were kind of Australia's version of the Model T in the 50's, with more than 50% of the market in their day - not great cars but exactly what the market was looking for when they were launched. Bigger than the average British car of the day, with a 'large' 2.2 litre 6 cylinder motor, 3 on-the-tree and seating for six, they were a good family size car with a strong enough frame and suspension to handle the typically poor roads of the time.
    Thanks again for posting.

You must have been asleep when the warning was given and the tread was stripped of a lot of non-car material. Flatheadguy is correct.

… kinda fateful, tragic, funny and weird all at the same time, but see how the actual star of the movie of which the basic story line was written and built upon as the loner rodder and how all the town clique kids and the rich kid with a hot chevy interact, is shown here almost Cut out of this group photo and pushed to the far left, just about like what happened to his career after this movie …. but that's how I guess, it goes more ways than not.

The VW in Graffiti was driven by Lynne Marie Stewart. I'm not that nerdy, I had to google it.
