i need a set of those fancy valve cover wing nut hold down thingys. anybody know where i can get a set?

 

I have one if you can find 3 more.

 

do you remember where you got it? what is it, like 5/16 thread?

 

I bought it at a swap meet, I'm pretty sure that it has the correct threads for a Y-Block valve cover.

Offenhauser used to sell them but they discontinued.

I knew it was a valve cover nut when I spotted it because of the fatter body.

Couple of 292's to be torn into then put in my 61 uni

 

I'm going to run a pair of finned Edelbrock valve covers on my open engine RPU.
I had a hell of a time finding a good set of those valve covers in the first place, so there is no way I will run a wing nut style hold down that would make stealing the valve covers a fast and very easy task.

Yes, it is. Don't know if it's correct for that year car/engine, as it was a complete mash up of parts.
