It's a good meet, get there early,

This year they had a mix up and didn't get the West Hall rented for the event and they lost over a 100 spaces and just let us know couple weeks ago about it ..... So I'll just be shopping this year

The KY Spring swap meet is larger then the Fall meet but I wouldn't drive 5 hours to attend. Not that big of a meet.

  5. I agree with this statement. I go every year, but its local to me. I would save the 5 hour drive and go somewhere like Hersey.

  8. I'm in W. MI and it takes me at least 7 hours to drive down there. Been many times. Not a lot of pre-49 parts, but a good swap meet.

  9. 4-1/2 hours for me. Lots there, but like was previously mentioned, not a lot of pre-48 Ford stuff. At least what I was looking for. One way drive is longer than the walk through. I'm a swap meet junkie, but I think that I will pass this year.

I was a little confused, when you said west hall I pictured the whole west wing being full of arts and crafts! ........ Back to the OP's question, it's a great time and an awesome place to meet up with other nuts like ourselves after a long winter. If you need a part or whole car you most likely can find it here. Hershey is a must see kinda thing and the vendors seem to price things accordingly, there are great bargains to be found in Louisville, come on down gas is cheap!

I'd like to find a set of 15x3 1/2 front runners, most guys selling them on ebay must have bumped their heads! Pork sandwich, now your talking!!

Still debating wether to drive 30 minutes and spend $20 for parking and entrance fee's. Not sure its worth it.

  16. Yep, wouldn't miss it. You get to see lots of guys you haven't seen for a while and I need a couple of things as well. Usually some interesting stuff there.

I always like the spring swap. You never know when you'll find something good at any swap meet.

Went and spent maybe 15 on gas, 15 eating, 8 to park, 10 to get in and only spent 11 bucks on something I later found out I already had after I got home, so........:D...not cheap, but I did enjoy looking.

I quit going over 10 years ago when it was creeping up past 5 plus parking,I rarely ever took anything home with me and was getting not worth the 3 hour drive each way.

The 33-34 Plymouth was actually a 33 Dodge coupe that appeared to have been channeled. The swap area was noticeably smaller and while I did find a couple of needed items there didn't seem to be as much early stuff as in the past.
