    Hi El Capo,

For the displacement to remain the same the bore and stroke would both have to change.
This suggests the bore and stroke remained the same in 56 and 57.

Man, I have always loved the 57 Premiers. What are the usual trouble areas? Someday I will own one.

Love the gold, looks close to mine. The paint layout is great, it really sets off the car.

And the progress continues... Things get REAL, REALLY QUICK! Good news, no rust found anywhere on floors...
Interior and interior trim are out, catalogued, inventoried and ready to be sent in to upholstery shop. Just wait and see what awaits "SUNSATION"... Stay tuned... KEEP IT HUMBLE, KEEP IT KUSTOM... HFFH

I am looking to have my engine rebuilt. It's currently at the builders and will get on it in about a week or so. What transmission did you go with? My plans are to adapt something other than stock.

As with any car, rust in the rockers, front bottom passenger side as well, due to the battery tray location. Some floor boards at times, especially on the driver side front and rear, as a heater box is located underneath the floor there and sometimes you anti freeze leakage.

If you're interested in a 57 Premiere, let me know. I know of a complete one for sale.
