Had a variety of engines through the years but always ran in the lower Gas classes. Last combination was an inline 6. had a chance to trade for what's left of it a few years back but I was already committed to the Scout build. Love the floater 3/4 ton diff

Yes that is the Ellis/Kanners car that won AM/SP at Indy in 67 (both class and street eliminator). You will note the Midwest Auto Parts on the nose if you look closely. This is probably earlier in 67 before they lettered the sides up properly.

Antone Addessi at Dover Drag Strip every Sunday. His girl friend used to help him get it started with the cables for the charger for years.

The yellow A/G Anglia was Brewer & Maki, out of Portland Or. Ken Maki would move to AA/FD with a Fuller car, with Ed McCulloch as driver. Ken also operated a very successful 19 cent hamburger stand, called Scotty's Drive In. Gary Lewis would run the Willys PU, through the 70's advancing to a blown 426 Hemi . Scotties Drive In.jpg

Nice truck but getting into the new stuff arena again--- and to make it worse it has those horrible Chinese "Halibrand" knockoff wheels. The post directly prior to it is a little better as the truck has all the right pieces but it is still a recent photo and that was not part of the criteria for this thread.
